When it began....
Swift Communications and Technology Limited has been established since 1989.
Founded by Mr Ian Swift in 1989 SCT started off by selling telephone systems and mobile phones to businesses. Gradually as the need for IT systems grew in the UK Ian saw an opportunity and decided to become involved in the supply and install of Computer Systems to business and private customers.
At this time there were not many large stores around like there are today and most PC's were branded IBM or Hewlett Packard, manufactured in large warehouses and delivered to your door. There was a great need for support at this time as many customers knew little about the latest technology. Customer feedback showed that they felt there was a lack of support from the large stores and so we made it our policy to give every customer the ability to not only purchase a computer system by a local company but to also feel like there was someone to turn to when things went wrong. Our policy never changed.

Maintaining Networks and Computer Systems is the core functionality of the business and we are always looking into ways of improving the service we offer to our customers. Our policy is to provide a unique and second to none service before and after the sale.
We specialise in custom built computers, tailored to the specific requirements of the customer, and only sell 'branded' components such as Intel, Gigabyte, ASUS and Kingston.
We supply everything IT from standalone PC's for the home user to multi user Windows SBS / Exchange Servers.
